For over twenty years, I have had the privilege of providing quality legal representation to individuals and to business clients throughout Louisiana and California. My experience ranges from the representation of clients in local commercial matters, family disputes, personal injury and bankruptcy to the representation of large corporations in international arbitration, including the Iran-U.S. Claims Tribunal at the Hague.
In today’s competitive environment, this office has the advantage of combining large firm experience with personal attention to clients’ needs at affordable rates. Every client receives “hands on” attention, and your goals and needs are the top priority. When necessary, I have a network of respected colleagues in those areas of law that require a high degree of specialization to solve a particular problem.
I am happy to accept new clients and select referrals from other firms. For details regarding experience, philosophy and practice, please take a moment to explore the site.

I have had the opportunity to represent large corporations, small businesses and individuals in a wide range of litigation matters. I’ve appeared in the smallest of rural courts in Louisiana to international claims tribunals in The Hague, The Netherlands. When litigation becomes necessary or you are brought into a lawsuit, you should sit down with an attorney and map out a strategic plan to achieve your desired result. I am happy to assist you in all phases of litigation, from the petition or complaint through appeal, if necessary.
My office can assist you in handling various types of commercial matters, construction disputes, officer and director liability, zoning disputes and appeals, succession litigation and resolution of community property partitions.
I can assist individuals with all types of personal injury claims, from automobile accidents to maritime claims. Your case deserves a first rate attorney. I don’t have time for television commercials.

BANKRUPTCY LAW
I have practiced in Bankruptcy Court for over twenty years, and I was a partner in one of New Orleans’ most respected bankruptcy firms. I have experience representing both debtors and creditors in Chapters 7, 11 and 13. If bankruptcy becomes a realistic possibility for you, I urge you to choose a firm that allows you to meet with an attorney during your initial consultation and to have that attorney with you every step of the way. My philosophy is that you are hiring me and not an assistant. We can discuss all of your options and I can advise you as to what course of action suits your long term needs. There is a way out of your financial problems.
I have also represented businesses in bankruptcy matters, both as debtor and creditor. My office can provide representation more economically than many firms, while you benefit from large firm experience.
I urge you to call and schedule an initial consultation if you have any questions.
